What to expect:
You will be given detailed instructions on how to prepare your skin both pre and post-treatment. For best results, it is very important that you follow these instructions.
A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area. Most patients describe the treatment to feel like a warm rubber band snap. Depending on the size of the treatment area, the session can last between 15 to 45 minutes.
A series of three treatments is usually recommended, but this can vary based on skin condition, and desired outcome. As collagen and elastin production increases, your skin will naturally begin to repair and rejuvenate itself.
Erythema (redness), similar to a sunburn, can be expected after a FraxPro 1550 treatment. This will last up to 24-hours. Although the skin may have a rough-feeling texture during the 5-7 after treatment, most patients would describe this as a ‘no-downtime’ treatment.
